Account and project data. When you register or create a project, we collect information such as your name, email address, organization details, and project configuration (including API keys and widget settings).

Knowledge base content. Documents and files you upload to train your AI agent are stored and processed to enable retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) responses.

Chat and usage data. When visitors interact with your embedded widget or API, we may collect conversation content, session identifiers, request origins, timestamps, and technical metadata (such as IP address and browser user agent) for service delivery, analytics, and security.

Automatically collected data. We collect standard log data including pages visited, API requests, error reports, and device or browser information to maintain and improve the Service.

2. How we use your information

We use collected information to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
Process documents and generate AI-powered responses for your projects
Authenticate API requests and manage access tokens
Monitor performance, detect abuse, and improve product quality

3. AI processing and third parties

To deliver AI responses, your uploaded content and chat queries may be processed by third-party AI and infrastructure providers (including cloud hosting and large language model APIs). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards and only as needed to operate the Service.

We retain account data, uploaded documents, and chat logs for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your project data by contacting us. Some data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate security and backup purposes.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure API key handling. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Widget visitors

If you embed the Jibu AI widget on your website, you are responsible for informing your visitors about data collection through the widget and obtaining any required consents under applicable privacy laws. Chat content submitted through the widget is processed on behalf of the project owner (you).

8. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
